Hello and welcome to the month of September! Fall is almost here and it’s a little, just a little bit cooler out. Hopefully the temperatures keep going down, that would be nice!
September 7th also means it is Labor Day weekend 2026! Since it falls on a Monday it gives us a long holiday weekend. Banks and federal offices will be closed. Most normal businesses will also be closed.
Schools and post offices will be closed on Labor Day also, so keep that in mind. Big stores that do stay open often have big Labor Day sales that are worth checking out.
Labor Day celebrates all the hard workers who work so hard to keep America going. No matter what type of work you do, this day is for you! Enjoy your long weekend off. 🙂

Lots of folks will be headed to the beach this weekend. Some will have a backyard cookout. Of course all the theme parks will be open and packed with people!
Many consider Labor Day weekend to be the end of the summer season. As hot as it has been this summer I am glad to see the end of it and get some cooler weather! 😀
