It is now the month of August, and we here at Covenant Cleaning Services hope your month has gone well so far! Besides sharing cleaning articles here we like to highlight local events.
So today we want to talk about one of Orlando’s best farmers markets in the area. We all want to have access to healthy, locally grown produce, breads, baked goods and more.
You can find all that and much more at the Orlando farmers market located at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando! It is held every Sunday year round.
Lake Eola is a beautiful lake located right in Orlando’s downtown area. Not too many cities can boast having a lake right in the center of their city. It is 23 acres in size.

Lake Eola has a mile long sidewalk circling it, with a beautiful lit up water fountain in the center. You can rent swan shaped paddle boats to go out on it and see real swans that make it home.
It has a lot of green space around it, making it a nice park. Every Sunday from 10:00 AM – 03:00 PM it host the Orlando farmers market which has been held since 1987. 🙂
Besides finding great locally grown Florida produce you can find vendors selling breads, baked goods, herbs, honey, crafts, gifts, jewelry and much more.
You can also find food trucks with a variety of meals and drinks. Plus music and other entertainment that varies from week to week. It’s a great family outing event everyone will enjoy.

It is also dog friendly, with leashed dogs welcome. In fact several vendors sell dog treats and doggie accessories for your pet.
So if you want to buy healthy fresh produce plus many other foods, unique crafts, hand made jewelry and lots more, check out the Orlando farmers market at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando!
